The talk covers the specific use cases where BDR is well-suited. We'll go over the architecture of the BDR system as compared to other distributed databases such as the ParAccel database (which morphed into Amazon's RedShift) and the TransLattice Elastic Database (TED)). The talk covers the performance advantages of BDR as measured through test coverage. We'll also talk about the particular user scenarios that were developed to mimic customer environments.
