The rise of PostgreSQL in the enterprise is paralleled by the wide acceptance of Cloud services, non-relational data stores, and highly scalable architecture. It is fortunate that just as we see increased attention on open source solutions, the Postgres community has gained a truly staggering number of core features and extensions, and PG10 may just be the best release we've seen yet! The data landscape has expanded considerably in the last decade, but the value of relational data has never been clearer.
