Thomas Munro is a member of EnterpriseDB's database server team. He works on PostgreSQL and related technology from a secret lab on a volcanic island in the South Pacific.
His contributions to PostgreSQL so far include Parallel Hash, SKIP LOCKED, remote_apply, replay_lag, and (as domestique or co-author) trigger transition tables and a shared memory allocator. He has a shiny new PostgreSQL commit bit with training wheels. Before becoming a free-range open source database hacker, he worked on proprietary C++ and Unix based stuff in the finance and software industries for many years.
