Mohamed Ali is a Senior database engineer at Databricks, where he works on Lakebase. He has over 19 years of experience working with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, including nearly 10 years at AWS RDS, where he worked on PostgreSQL engine development for Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL and Aurora PostgreSQL. His work has included the design and integration of Babelfish for PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL Serverless v2, and Aurora PostgreSQL Limitless Database.
