With over 7 years of experience shipping teams and open-source projects, Steve combines deep expertise in backend systems, geospatial data, and self-hosted infrastructure automation with a mission to connect African developers to global technology. He's currently shipping Reckot, an event management and ticketing platform designed for offline-first operations solving real infrastructure challenges across the continent. Steve founded Django Cameroon and Python Cameroon communities, organizes PyCon Africa and AWS Community Day Cameroon, and has spoken at PyConUS.
