Ben is the data engineer at Columbia University's History Lab. He develops and maintains systems and software supporting Columbia's Freedom of Information Archive (FOIArchive), the world's largest database of declassified documents.
Ben has been working with PostgreSQL since 2015 and relational databases for over 30 years. He has an MS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and a BS in Mathematics from Montclair State University.
