Do you have a need to add your own extensions to PostgreSQL but don't want to write them in C? Are you using AWS managed databases and have a need to write a custom extension (but don't have the development cycles to write and open source a new PostgreSQL extension from scratch?

In this talk, we'll explore solutions to these challenges using using "Trusted Language Extensions" for PostgreSQL, leveraging trusted PostgreSQL languages, such as PL/pgSQL, Perl, and Rust. We'll conclude with a demo of Trusted Language Extensions using managed PostgreSQL.
