In this talk, you’ll get a birds-eye view of all the Postgres work at Microsoft in 2025. This keynote will share 4 things with you: (1) our Postgres open-source work, including some of the significant contributions we’ve made to Postgres 18; (2) our investments in Azure Database for PostgreSQL to improve enterprise security, performance, and availability; (3) new AI features for developers in the Azure cloud and the new VS Code extension for PostgreSQL, and (4) our active participation in the Postgres community—which among other things includes sponsoring Postgres conferences like PGConf NYC and organizing POSETTE: An Event for Postgres.
