Martín started in the late 90s as a System Administrator, always excited about OSS. He's from Argentina, now living in Valencia, Spain. Since 2000 he has been working as a DBA, mostly with PostgreSQL. He's worked on web development for the Universidad Nacional del Litoral in Argentina with PostgreSQL as the data backend. He has also given PostgreSQL training courses for several governmental agencies in Argentina and was actively involved in the PostgreSQL community in Argentina. He was in charge of Western Support Management at 2ndQuadrant until the acquisition. He's now the Director of Postgres Tooling at EDB.
