There is a myth that once databases are moved to a cloud provider, company won’t need their database administrative (DBA) team. The idea is, “the cloud provider will manage everything.” While cloud certainly helps in taking care of repetitive tasks of database administration, there are still large amount of tasks which needs to be performed by the DBA and DevOps team.
